15 bucks of faith-part 2

yesterday had a wonderful suprise wrapped up in it....i read this excerpt from Sarah Young's devotional, Jesus Calling, first thing in the morning:

Approach each new day with a desire to find me.  Before you get out of bed, I have already been working to prepare the path that will get you through the day.  There are hidden treasures strategically placed along the way.  Some of the treasures are trials, designed to shake you free from earth-shackles.  Others are blessings that reveal my presence: sunshine, flowers, birds, friendships, answered prayers.  I have not abandoned this sin-wracked world; I am richly present in it.  Search for deep treasure as you go through this day.  You will find me all along the way.

then in the afternoon, i found a tricycle for sale, posted on craigslist. i had decided to quickly glance at the new listings, barely hoping for anything.  but then, there it was, the exact tricycle we had originally wanted to get for asher.  i emailed and got a phone call an hour later saying the tricycle was still available.  i drove to get it after asher's nap and the moment was such a sweet gift from God.   the best part was talking about the tricycle we had lost and how God decided to provide another one for us.  asher and i got to pray together and thank God and i will cherish hearing his little voice saying thank you to God.  i'll also cherish seeing his excitement to ride and enjoy the tricycle once we got home.  oh, how he (God) loves us!  i'm blown away that he cares about little things like tricycles and even more, about our character and heart -big or little.
