Fair Friday Finds: a Boozik

Have you ever heard of a Boozik?  If not,  I am so excited to get to share it with you as my Fair Friday Find.  Booziks are portable speakers made in Thailand, out of 100% bamboo.  Less truly is more!  Not only are they simple and well-made, but they are also fairly made with both quality and the artisan in mind.  It's amazing to see what something so simple has the power to do both in terms of sound and purchasing power.

We got ours a couple of years ago and have the original, all natural Boozik, pictured below:

We have used it out on our deck to add music for summer gatherings with friends.  It's also nice to be able to easily move it anywhere in the house or bring it anywhere we'd like.  It comes with a cool cloth carrying case and would make a great gift for almost any iPhone or iPad user in your life.  Download that brand new free U2 album thanks to Apple, and listen to it all over the house.

Boozik makes portable speakers in 4 different color variations for iPhones and they also make a Boozik just for iPads.  Check out their site here to shop.  Boozik (Global Groove) has graciously given my readers a coupon code for 10% off of the original boozik (pictured above).  Go grab one and get some for gifts as well - I know some of you are already Christmas shopping!

The coupon code is: boozikblog

While you shop,  be sure to browse the site to learn more about one of their artisans, Chanchai, and how he hand-makes these cool, portable speakers, now teaches others in his trade, and hopes to someday travel the world.
